Music

In my free time, I am a singer and collaborative pianist. As much as possible, I try to incorporate my linguistics knowledge into my musical practice and my music experience into my linguistics work.

Soprano

I am a soprano section lead in the choir of the Cathedral Church of the Redeemer. I have sung in the Calgary Girls Choir since I was eight years old, and currently sing in their Espressa Women's Choir. In the past, I have also sung with the University of Calgary Chamber Choir, Spiritus Chamber Choir, and the Alberta Youth Choir.

Pianist

I received my RCM grade 10 piano diploma in 2017. I have been the accompanist of the Calgary Girls Choir's Dolce choir (grades 1-4) since 2019, and I accompany the Calgary Arts Academy Adult Choir.
